ACHS has the following Open Positions:

  • NP or PA:  PRN, Acute Care-12 hour shifts

  • MLT/MT:  PRN, ASCP certification preferred

  • Greenfield Clinic CMA/LPN: FT, must be a Certified Medical Assistant or have State of Iowa Nursing License

  • Paramedic: PRN, 24 hour shifts

  • Quality Manager-RN:  Coordinates data collection, analysis and reporting related to continued readiness activities and quality/patient safety projects. Possess strong analytical skills and ability to extract and examine root cause analyses. Monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions. Provides consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards of quality and patient receive the highest standard of care. Participates in interdisciplinary groups to support and promote patient safety through quality improvement. Promotes standards-based practice with staff and upholds compliance with state and local regulatory agencies. Researches and maintains knowledge based on current trends in hospitals for assuring compliance and other quality initiatives. Serves as a mentor for staff in use of data and quality management. Responsible for survey preparation for quality and accreditation programs.

    Education and/or Experience: Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program. Bachelors Degree in Nursing, or other clinical licensure preferred Three years experience in a similar setting preferred

    Certificates, Licensure, Registrations: Current Iowa licensure by the Iowa State Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) required Willingness to obtain CPHRM and CPHQ Certification within reasonable time frame.

  • Chief Nursing Officer:  Key member on the organization’s executive team, collaborates with medical staff, directors/managers and clinical departments to support organizational mission and goals. This includes strategic plans, policies, programs, performance improvement activities and plans for patient care. Administers, organizes, directs, and monitors the activities of all nursing departments/service areas as well as other assigned departments/areas.
    Maintains excellent verbal and written communication/collaboration with key physician groups, medical staff and administrative colleagues. Coaches nursing leaders and staff to obtain optimal performance. Promotes public relations and represents the hospital in the community. Ensures compliance with policies and ensures that such policies remain in conformance with all state and federal licensure.

    Education: Degree in nursing required. Masters Degree in Nursing Leadership or Healthcare Administration preferred.

    Professional Experience: At least five years in healthcare management required. Strong communication skills. Must be able to comprehend and utilize written information. Ability to analyze and interpret numerical/statistical data. Knowledge of State and Federal requirements Licensure, Certification, Registration. Current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa required.
