The Adair County Health Foundation was established in 1998.  It's mission is to encourage and accept public gifts in support of Adair County Health System.  It is the vision of the Adair County Health Foundation that each and every resident of Adair County will continue to have convenient, quality health care available to them today and into the future.  

Current Project

Throughout the past 10 years, the Foundation has made many things happen at ACHS.  One of our biggest accomplishments was the Building Renovation and Addition.  The Foundation raised over 900 thousand dollars to help support this 9.8 million dollar project. Any unrestricted funds will be designated towards the item of greatest need.  If you would like to be a part of our success, please contact the Adair County Health Foundation Office.  Please note on any donation the area or equipment you would like your funds to support.  Thank you for your past and continued support of Adair County Health Foundation.

Ways To Give

Donations

A gift or pledge of cash, insurance policies, real estate, stocks, bonds or other property.

Memorials

Memorials are made to the Foundation as a thoughtful means to remember a loved one and become a part of helping others who are facing health concerns. Memorial gifts may be designated for where the need is greatest or for specific use by the medical center. All gifts, (unless requested to be anonymous) will be recognized and a note acknowledging your thoughtfulness will be sent to the family members if a name and address is provided.

Honor Gifts

Honor gifts are similar to memorials. An honor gift enables you to pay tribute to a person or group by making a donation in the person/group’s name. Honor gifts are also recognized and a note acknowledging your thoughtfulness will be sent to the honoree.

Special Events

We plan several large and small fundraising events.  This gives everyone the opportunity to support our organization.  Visit the upcoming events section to view our upcoming events.

Wills and Bequests

You may provide for gifts to the Foundation in your will. A bequest could be a specific amount of money, a particular property, or a percentage of an estate. A charitable gift may mean substantial tax savings for your estate. This option should be explored with your personal attorney and/or financial planner.
